From crayons to beads ...
Rock & Hardware Jewelry developed from a love of gemstones long forgotten, but recently discovered. While cleaning out her home office closet, owner/designer Cindy Kassebaum stumbled across some gemstones tucked away in the back from years ago. She was immediately drawn to the beauty of the stones … amazed by the patterns, texture and feel. Cindy instantly knew she had to do something with them — Rock & Hardware Jewelry was born.
A self-taught jewelry designer, Cindy has always been involved with various art forms for as long as she can remember. One of her earliest memories from kindergarten was choosing art during free time while all her friends chose to play games. Cindy can still recall sitting at the art table by herself with a huge box of crayons and drawing an oversized chicken dwarfing a bright red barn. She was having the time of her life! Creating Rock & Hardware pieces takes Cindy back to that moment as she happily blends together many of the things she loves most about art: color, texture, intricate patterns and design.
Rock & Hardware is committed to the notion that the bracelet defines the look. Slide on a Red Creek jasper stack and transform jeans and a tee into something more. Throw on a suit jacket; add a black onyx number and you’re ready for a night on the town. Rock & Hardware bracelets are created using semi-precious gemstones, leather, wood, metal and thoughtfully sourced vintage finds. The perfect invitee to any arm party!
